Today is my day off and there is nothing to do! I probably shouldn't be out running around since I am still getting over being sick. I went home from work early on Saturday, I felt so sick. And for some reason everyone seemed to think that I was pregnant. I know that if I wasn't married no one would ever ask me that question. I was legitimately sick with a 102.3 fever, but took a pregnancy test anyways.. and it was negative. I'll still take another test in a couple of weeks just to be sure. I can't have a kid right now, I'm still a kid myself. And I have so much going for me right now. All the up coming whiskey events and photo shoots.. a kid just wouldn't fit in my schedule right about now.
We have the Fairway Affair of New England coming up next month and it is a huuuge event! Celebs are even going to be there!! I'm totally excited about it! And after that we have bike week that we will be working at. And lately, I've been prepping my hair for dreadlocks. I was in need of a change, so I called upon good old Adam from Prospect Hill to help me out with the awesome locks. Unfortunately, my hair is so long that it's going to take forever. I went for a session last night and I think he got about 4 or so finished. Hopefull we'll be able to get together later today and work on some more of it. He's going on tour in a couple weeks so we need to get them done soon!! My hubby isn't really sure how to take the whole dread thing. I think he's afraid that I am going to change as a person just because my hair is changing. I keep telling him that it's not going to happen, but only time will prove that to him, and I'm okay with that. I've learned that everything in this world takes time and that patience is a virtue. After all... I did make it through a 14 month deployment. Now tell me that isn't patience right there!
